111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.

Practices are working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments between 6:30pm and 8:00pm during the week and also over the weekend during 09:00am and 5:00pm.

If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours. Your appointment could be with another practice in the area.

There are a number of routes for you to access Enhanced Access:
1. Ring your Practice during normal opening hours to pre-book into the service.
2. Ring your Practice number during the practice extended hours session.

Patients who can access the Enhanced Access Service are the patients who are registered with the following practices:
– Tower Hill Partnership Medical Practice
– Heath Street Health Centre
– Handsworth Medical Practice
